A New Era

We started True Travel Reviews about 12 years ago. For years we traveled the world, writing reviews on everything – every restaurant, every attraction, every hotel, etc. It was a lot of work, but we really enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, a couple of years ago, while on our second RV trip, the whole site was lost. One wrong click and then the site crashed and years of posts were gone. I restored what I could, but in the end, it would never be the same.

The way that we travel has also changed though, so it felt like it was time to adjust how we do our reviews and the content we create. Writing a review from two perspectives (mine and my husbands – and sometimes the kids) was quite time-consuming. So, we are entering a new era of True Travel Reviews. We will feature the cities that we visit mentioning our favorite restaurants, attractions, and places we stay – we’ll still tell you the good, the bad, and the ugly.

We will also feature our itineraries as our travels have become much more lengthy and complicated, particularly in the summer when we try to escape the East Texas heat and humidity! So, here’s to a new era of True Travel Reviews!
